Chinese company provides Nepal 2,000 coronavirus kits



KATHMANDU: Chinese company Beijing Savanta Biotechnology has donated 2,000 sets of kits to test coronavirus.

The company has already sent ‘coronavirus antigen detection reagent testing kits’ to Lhasa. The Consulate General of Nepal in Lhasa is preparing to send them to Nepal via land route at the earliest.

Director General of the company Wang Guoping handed over the kits worth Rs 3.6 million to Nepali Ambassador to China Sushil Kumar Lamsal in Beijing on Wednesday.

The Nepali Emabby has termed it ‘an excellent example of friendly age-old ties between the Nepal and China’. Nepal has sent a checklist of assistance to the China government.
