President Bhandari begins Sudurpaschim visit today

BAITADI: President Bidya Devi Bhandari begins her three-day Sudurpaschim State visit today.

While in the region, she will attend various functions in five districts including Baitadi.

She will also inaugurate the World Nepal Literature Festival at Dhangadhi, Kailali on Wednesday.

Likewise, she will conduct a special puja at Tripurasundari Bhagawati Temple of Baitadi on Thursday.

President’s civic felicitation will be organized at Dasharath municipality, said Chief District Officer of Baitadi, Anand Poudel.

On Thursday, President Bhandari is inaugurating the Bhimdutta Polytechnic Institute of Patan and a hostel.

On the third day of her visit, President Bhandari will visit the Ugratara Temple of Dadeldhura and attend the Shuklaphanta Festival to be organized at Kanchanpur.

Meanwhile, the Patan Municipality of Baitadi has announced a public holiday on Thursday on the President’s visit.
