Chakka Bahadur Lama quits NCP Oli camp



KATHMANDU: Member of the House of Representatives from Humla Chakka Bahadur Lama has quit the KP Oli faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

In a statement issued on Saturday, Lama said he had has rejected the post of central member offered to him by Prime Minister Oli.

In the statement, Lama said that he abandoned the post to address the suggestions and sentiments of the people of Humla and respecting public opinion.

He thanked the Oli faction for nominating him as a central member and stated that it was unacceptable.

Lama has joined the NCP Chairmen Prachanda and Madhav Nepal faction.
