7 districts including Kathmandu have over 500 COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that seven districts, including Kathmandu have the most number of coronavirus cases with more than 500 persons in each district.

Dr. Jageshwar Gautam, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population informed that Parsa, Mahottari, Rautahat, Kathmandu, Sarlahi, Morang and Bara have over 500 active cases.

According to Ministry, so far, Parsa has recorded 2,069 cases, Mahottari 1,183, Rautahat 1,814, Kathmandu 3,185, Sarlahi 1,572, Morang 1,459 and Bara 786 cases.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 infected people in two districts — Humla and Mustang — have been recovered with no new cases as of now.

Humla had witnesses only five cases so far while Mustang had only one person infected from COVID-19.
