Kathmandu Valley witnesses record-high 301 new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 301 persons in the Kathmandu Valley have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at the regular press briefing, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population informed that 230 persons in Kathmandu, 47 in Lalitpur and 24 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for pandemic virus.

Meanwhile, a total of 885 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the country on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, 385 have returned home after complete health recovery today.

It has been said that a total of 19,504 people have returned home so after getting recovery till today.

Dr. Gautam said that there are 14,739 active cases.

The death toll reached 175 with confirmation of 11 new deaths.
