150 households in Kalikot face landslide menace



KALIKOT: A total of 150 households in Mahabai Rural Municipality-3 are at high risk of a landslide at Dhamigaun.

The incessant rainfall caused the landslide, bringing the village at risk of erosion, said a local Janpura Kumari Singh.

She informed that the locals were panicked over imminent erosion of the village with the landslide enlarging in the vicinity.

Ward Chair Dankala Singh said they were planning to shift the settlement to safer places to protect human lives and properties.
