COVID-19: Karnali Province confirms 26 new cases



KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 26 more people in Karnali Province.

The Karnali Province Health Services Division of the Ministry of Social Development said in a statement confirmed the new cases.

Coronavirus was confirmed in 26 people, including 23 at the Province Hospital Surkhet and three at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences.

One person from Kathmandu, one from Surkhet and one from Jumla, has been infected in the swab tested at Karnali Institute of Health Sciences.

Similarly, 12 others are from Surkhet, five from Dailekh, three from Salyan, two from Jajarkot and one from Mugu have been infected.

Of the 26 infected people, two are health workers working at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences.
