Docs at National Medical College quarantined



KATHMANDU: Some doctors working at the National Medical College have been quarantined.

According to Dr. Asraf Hussain, the coronavirus liaison officer of the hospital, the doctors involved in the treatment of the person who died at the hospital on May 17 have been kept under quarantine.

According to Dr. Hussein, some doctors were quarantined after a 70-year-old man from Kalaiya who died on May 17 was confirmed to be infected eight days later.

The hospital has quarantined doctors, nurses and health workers from the emergency department, ICU and anesthesia who are in contact with the man.
