18 members including infant recover from COVID-19 (in pics)



PARSA: With the Coronavirus infection cases soaring in Nepal, the number of people recovering from the pandemic has also gone up.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 18 people including a two-month-old infant who underwent treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj have recovered.

The hospital has discharged 18 people including a two-month-old infant and 10 children from the hospital, according to medical superintendent of the hospital Madan Upadhyaya.

Those who have been discharged are of the same family residing in Chhapkaiya of Birgunj-3.

On May 3, a 37-year-old man of this family had been admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with the novel virus and other 17 family members were confirmed to have been infected with the virus after contact tracing on May 6.
