Curfew continues in Palpa



RAMPUR: The District Administration Office (DAO), Palpa has continued to clamp curfew following violations of government-declared nationwide lockdown.

The DAO has prolonged the curfew from 3.00 pm Tuesday to March 31 after sporadic incidents of violation of lockdown – that was declared to tackle the possible outbreak of COVID-19 infection.

Chief District Officer Yadav Subedi said curfew was clamped to control potential spread of coronavirus.

He also warned of action against those breaching curfew orders in line with the law.

The DAO said the prohibitory orders were made to curb the infection in line with the Clause 6(3) of the Local Administration Act-2028 BS.
