Three Indian nationals arrested in Nepal with IRs 300,000



RUPANDEHI: Three Indian nationals have been arrested from Siddharthanagar Municipality-1 with 300,000 Indian rupees.

A team of Armed Police Force arrested them on Friday.

The arrestees are Sunil Kumar Ramani, 54, and Raj Kumar Baryani of Ayodhya and Ravi Tiwari, 22 of Bhawanipur.

They were arrested while they were entering Nepal on a vehicle with Indian registration number, UP 45 U 9090.

The law enforcement agency also seized Rs 13,000 from their possession.

The trio has been handed over to Revenue Investigation Office, Butwal for necessary action.

Carrying such a huge amount of Indian currency notes is illegal in Nepal.
