Five die of seasonal flu in Humla village

HUMLA: Five people have died of a seasonal flu outbreak in Masidhara village of the district in the past two weeks.

The deceased are Madan Shah, 45, Janu Kala Shah, 50, Dati Ram Sarki, 65, Gori Sarki, 60, and Pyauri Shahi, 60, of Chankheli Rural Municipality-6.

Coordinator of Health Division of the rural municipality Kali Bahadur Budha said that the patients of seasonal flu have increased in the district.

“Elders are among those most affected,” he said.
