Province 1 sees 40 fresh cases of coronavirus, 414 discharged

BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 witnessed 40 fresh cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, out of the swabs of 310 people tested in the province, 40 including 16 females and 24 males tested coronavirus positive.

The Ministry informed that 12 people in Jhapa, 10 in Morang, nine in Sunsari, three in Ilam, two in Sankhuwasabha, and one each in Bhojpur and Solukhumbu tested coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, two persons outside the province have tested coronavirus positive in the tests conducted in the Province 1 labs.

With Friday’s cases, the number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached 29,614.

Likewise, with 415 people being discharged from various isolation centers including home isolation today, the number of people discharged in the province has become 26,710 now.
