Nine more succumb to coronavirus taking Nepal’s death toll to 1,816



KATHMANDU: As many as nine COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,816 as of Friday afternoon.

The country recorded a total of 608 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 257,200 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 7,092 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 892 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 248,292 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, nine persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,816.
