7 succumb to coronavirus, death toll reaches 164



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 164 as of Tuesday afternoon after seven more fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that one woman from Kathmandu and one man each from Siraha, Parsa, Dhanusha and Rupandehi and two men from Kathmandu have died of the coronavirus.

Nepal confirmed 855 new cases in the last 24 hours that took the national tally to 33,533.
