KAVREPALANCHOWK: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has reiterated that Nepal’s land updated in the recently unveiled map should be brought back.
At a program in Banepa today, Minister Gyawali said the entire country should stand united to bring back the land.
“Our ownership (of land) should be claimed by submitting all facts and evidence on the table during the talks with the neighboring country India by getting united,” he added.
Saying that only releasing the map was not sufficient, he said getting our lands back was not easier as said.
We will certainly clinch success but we have to advance procedurally, Gyawali argued.
He was of the view that the issuance of the new map was possible as the entire nation was united for this matter. “We have to do a lot to bring the land for real usage.”
On a different note, Gyawali argued that Nepal has achieved effective results in its fight against coronavirus infection in South Asia.
Furthermore, Gyawali, also the standing committee member of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, said that Nepal’s communist movement was advancing on the path of people’s multiparty democracy as envisaged by Pushpalal and Madan Bhandari.
“The future of socialism is bright and this is our guidelines,” he remarked.
