Gandaki Province sees 11 more COVID-19 cases on Saturday

POKHARA: Gandaki Province has found 11 more coronavirus cases on Saturday.

According to Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma, the Director of Gandaki Health Directorate, one case from Kaski, two cases from Gorkha and eight new cases from Nawalparasi East have made the coronavirus tally 11 for today.

He added that the newly found coronavirus positive people are being taken to the isolation established in the respective districts.

With 306 coronavirus cases in the district, Nawalparasi East also known as Nawalpur has turned to be the most affected district in the province, whereas Manang and Mustang with one case each in the districts have the lowest number of cases.

Manang and Mustang have become coronavirus case free now as both cases in the districts have been sent home after recovery.

There have been 1,372 cases in Gandaki Province till date. Out of them 1,206 are males and 166 females. According to Director Dr. Sharma 1,122 people have returned home after recovery from coronavirus pandemic.
There are 234 people in the isolation centers established in various parts of the province now.

The province has seen 4 death tolls from coronavirus pandemic till date. The deceased include 1 each from Baglung and Gorkha and 2 from Syangja district.
