2 years on, govt still clueless about Nirmala’s rapist



KATHMANDU: It has been two years today since an incident of heinous rape crime took place in Bhimdatta municipality-2, of Kanchanpur district.

Innocent 13-year-old Nirmala Panta who went to her friend Roshani Bam’s house to do homework on July 26, 2018 was found murdered after rape the next day.

Victim’s mother Durga Devi has appealed to the government for justice to her daughter but in vain.

Two years have elapsed by, the government is still clueless about the culprit, let bringing him to justice alone.
