KATHMANDU: More than 77,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in the United States of America (USA) in a single day.
With 77,885 infection cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 4,248,203 as of Saturday morning.
According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, 1,129 people died in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 148,478 so far.
A total of 2,027,615 people have recovered from coronavirus so far.
Currently, 2,072,110 are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the country, of which the condition of 19,100 is critical.
