SAPTARI: Two persons died in a road accident last night at Kalyanpur in Saptari along the East-West Highway, police said.
The deceased are identified as motorcyclist Birendra Das, 30, and his mother Sudhanidevi, 50, of Khadak Municipality-5 of Saptari.
The accident occurred when the motorcycle –Sa 10 Pa 9050 — and a jeep — Sa 1 Jha 487 — collided head on.
The Area Police Office, Kalyanpur, said that the two died on the spot.
