Villagers beat one to death, six missing



JAJARKOT; A youth died after being beaten up by villagers in Soti of Chaurjahari municipality, Rukum west last night.
The deceased has been identified as Nawaraj BK of Ranagaon in Bheri municipality-4, Jajarkot.

Six youths accompany BK are still missing, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at Jajarkot Kishore Shrestha.

The incident reportedly took place after BK went to meet his girlfriend in Rukum west. The girl’s mother raised alarm, leading to villagers attacking the group of youth.

The two families had been in a tussle since the past. The girl’s family had also filed a complaint against BK at Chaurjahari police office. Both sides had also reached an agreement.

Meanwhile, police have begun an investigation into the incident. RSS
