COVID-19: Province 1 records 50 new cases, 515 discharged

BIRATNAGAR: A total of 515 people have recovered from coronavirus infection in Province-1 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, 501 recovered from home isolation, five from Mechi Hospital, four from Koshi Hospital COVID-19 Treatment Center, Biratnagar, three from Birat Medical College, and one each from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences Dharan and Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.

A total of 26,296 have recovered from the pandemic in the Province so far.

The Ministry added that PCR tests were conducted on 390 people in the Province in the last 24 hours, out of which 50 people including 21 women and 29 men were diagnosed coronavirus positive.

The coronavirus tally in the Province has reached 29,574 as of Thursday.
