NEW DELHI: India has reported as many as 61,408 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the Union Ministry of Health has said.
The country saw 57,468 recoveries and 836 deaths in the last 24 hours, Indian media reports said.
With this, the total coronavirus tally has mounted to 31,06,349 including 23,38,036 cured/discharged/migrated cases & 57,542 deaths, according to the Ministry.
Likewise, coronavirus cases in capital Delhi climbed over 1.61 lakh as the city recorded its highest single-day spike in August.
