Chandragiri reports 60 coronavirus cases so far

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus infected individuals in Chandragiri Municipality, a major entry point to Kathmandu, has reached 60 so far.

According to Mayor Hari Bhakta Maharjan, the municipality has 35 active cases while 25 have returned home after complete recovery from the virus.

He said that the active cases are receiving treatment at Manmohan Hospital in Dahachowk, Armed Police Force Hospital in Balambu and Shukraraj Tropical Hosptial, Teku.

Likewise, 10 infected people are in home isolation.

With the rising cases of the virus, the municipality is preparing to establish isolation center at Shreekrishna Secondary School and Chundevi Secondary School in Thankot.
