Man arrested with Rs 2 million for hundi transaction

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man for his alleged involvement in illegal money transfer called hundi.

The arrestee is Dhundi Raj Neupane, 40, of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-5 in Syangja and currently living Samakhusi in Kathmandu.

Police have recovered Rs 1.91 million from his possession.

The Metropolitan Police Crime Division arrested Neupane from the Bishal Bazaar of Kathmandu.
