Home minister to present three ordinances in first House meeting today



KATHMANDU: The first meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament of Nepal is scheduled to take place today.

According to the tentative agenda, Sudan Gurung will present three ordinances during the meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 2 pm. As per point number seven of the agenda, the home minister will table the ordinances in the House.

According to Padma Prasad Pandey of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the ordinances to be presented include the Voters’ List (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, the House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, and the Nepal Special Service (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2026.
