COVID-19: Kathmandu confirms 10 new cases



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu reported 10 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population said.

Speaking at a regular press briefing on Friday afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that five people from Kathmandu tested positive in tests at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku.

Likewise, reports of five more from Kathmandu came positive in tests at TU Teaching hospital, he said.

Nepal reported 133 fresh coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours that took total cases to 18,374. The death toll across the country stands at 44.
