Indefinite prohibitory order issued in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: An indefinite prohibitory order has been issued in Birgunj from 5 am on Saturday morning to control the spread of coronavirus.

The decision was taken at an all-party meeting held at the District Administration Office, Parsa on Friday afternoon.

Assistant Chief District Officer Lalit Kumar Basnet said that that it has been decided to ban the public from going out of the house for other work except for urgent treatment in the Birgunj Metropolitan Area.

It has been decided to move ahead with the work of mass testing at the time when the prohibitory order has been clamped.

Birgunj has witnessed a sharp increase in coronavirus cases of late.
