Man missing after jumping into Narayani River



GAINDAKOT: A man has gone missing after jumping into Narayani River from a bridge located at Gaindakot Municipality-2 in Nawalparasi (East of Susta) on Friday morning.

A man who appears to be in his 50s jumped from the bridge at around 9:45 am this morning, police said.

The identity of the person has not been revealed, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office Mohan Bahadur Khand.

The river has swollen due to continuous rainfall.
