Bheri Hospital’s computer operator arrested on graft charge



NEPALGUNJ: A team of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Thursday arrested computer operator of the Bheri Hospital Arun Raj Khanal.

He was held on charge of receiving commission of 1.61 million in the purchase of the hospital appliances.

According to CIAA Nepalgunj chief Ganesh Gaire, computer operator Khanal was arrested in possession of cash with unidentified sources.

The anti-graft body has come up with activism in the crackdown of authorities allegedly involved in the graft cases in Nepalgunj area.

Meanwhile, the Banke police arrested two drug pedlars with the banned drugs. The police team deputed from the district police office last night arrested Ashish Ahir, 30, and Rajkumar Yadav, 27, from Duduwa rural municipality-1, Paja last night.

The police team destroyed the banned drugs after recovering them from the pedlars. RSS
