Coronavirus infects more than 15.6 million across world



KATHMANDU: More than 15.6 million people have been infected from coronavirus in the last seven months globally.

With 275,987 infection cases in a single day, the number of infection cases has reached 15,641,904 as of Friday morning.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, 6,309 people died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 636,384.

Meanwhile, 9,528,433 have recovered from the deadly virus.

Coronavirus has killed 200,507 and infected 2,735,015 people in the European countries. Meanwhile, 1636,623 have recovered from the coronavirus.

As many as 203,093 have died and 4,878,305 have been infected from coronavirus in North America. Meanwhile, 2,421,922 have recovered.

Likewise, 85,939 have died and 3,675,108 have been infected from the virus in Asia. Meanwhile, 2,630,537 have recovered from the virus.

South America has witnessed 129,360 deaths and 3,543,591 infection cases, of which 2,378,792 have recovered from the coronavirus.

Similarly, 16,756 have died and 791,968 have been infected In Africa, of which 449,634 have returned home after recovery.

Similarly, 155 have died and 14,998 have been infected in Australia and Oceania. Meanwhile, 10,274 have recovered from the deadly virus.
