US provides health supplies to Nepal worth Rs 50 million

Kathmandu: The United States of America has handed over health supplies to Nepali Army worth over Rs 50 million.

US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry handed over the health materials worth $450,00 (Rs 50.42 million) to Chief of Army Staffs Purnachandra Thapa at the Army Headquarters.

According to the Nepali Army Public Relations and Information Directorate, the United States provided medical supplies for the support of successful implementation of the “National Campaign Plan” for the prevention, response and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chief of Army Staff Thapa thanked the US Ambassador for the support.
