Health stuffs reach COVID-19 infected areas in Jhapa



JHAPA: Minister of State for Social Development in State-1, Jas Maya Gajmer, has reached Jhapa based Kachankalam quarantine and directed the authority concerned to manage basic facilities in the quarantine.

A total of 216 new entrants (from India) are kept at the quarantine there. It may be noted that a total of 33 people from the single village are tested COVID-19 positive.

She added that the State government was providing COVID-19 testing kits and urged the locals not to be more panicked as government was working to normalize the situation.

Earlier, she visited the quarantine established at the Laxmi Prasad Devkota Secondary School of Kachankabal and provided health stuffs there.

Similarly, she provided 160 RDT kits, 100 pieces of N-95 face masks and 20 sets of PPE to health workers. She also provided 100 bottled sanitizers and 500 pieces of face mask to the locals and 100 pieces of N-95 face masks to the media persons there.
