Ex-Crown Prince Paras Shah meets with accident, escapes unhurt



POKHARA: Ex-Crown Prince Paras Shah met with an accident at Prithvi Chowk, Pokhara on Saturday while he was being rushed to a hospital.

According to the sources, the vehicle carrying former Crown Prince Shah collided against an ox this morning.

Although the ox died in the accident, former Crown Prince and three others in the vehicles are uninjured in the accident.

Former Crown Prince Shah had been distributing relief materials to the people in difficulties due to lockdown enforced to curb coronavirus.

DSP Yadav Dhakal of Ward Police Office Baidam Pokhara confirmed that a vehicle, Ba 14 Cha 2131, taking former Crown Prince Paras had struck an ox at Prithvichowk.

According to him, there were three persons in the vehicle driven by Ashok Gurung.

The police have taken driver Gurung in custody and investigating further about the accident.
