Airlifted post-natal mother dies



KATHMANDU: A post-natal mother has died while undergoing treatment on Friday.

Ganga Karki from Khandbari Municipality-6 died at 10:30 pm last night while undergoing treatment at Paropakar Maternity & Women’s Hospital in Thapathali, Kathmandu.

Karki was airlifted by a Nepal’s Army helicopter on Friday around 4 pm for further treatment.

Earlier, she was referred to Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar after finding out that the fetus in an odd condition in the womb.

She had lost her conscious after giving birth to a dead baby.
