Kathmandu’s 35-yr-old infected with COVID-19 at Grande Hospital

KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old man who was confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19 this morning is undergoing treatment at Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital.

The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed the 35-year-old man of Kathmandu infected with the novel virus.

Meanwhile, a medical team from Epidemiology and Disease Control Department has reached Grande Hospital for contact tracing after the infected was found undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The additional details of the infected person will come once the contact-tracing team returns from the hospital, said Dr. Basudev Pandey, chief of the Department.

The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed new 30 Coronavirus cases on Saturday morning.

With this, number of people infected with COVID-19 has reached 548 in Nepal.
