COVID-19-infected woman transferred to Teaching Hospital

KATHMANDU: The COVID-19 female patient who was previously undergoing treatment at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center has been transferred to the ICU of TU Teaching Hospital.

According to Dr. Santa Kumar Das, coordinator of Corona Management Committee of Teaching Hospital, a female patient has been shifted to Teaching Hospital from Manmohan Cardiothoracic Center on Friday night.

Dr. Das told Khabarhub that the woman is undergoing treatment in the isolation of Teaching Hospital.

“After we knew about her condition, she was brought to the ICU at the TUTH meant for coronavirus patient,” he said.

“She is receiving treatment under the supervision of cardiologists,” he further added.

The 54-year-old woman from Makawanpur-3, Hetauda had tested positive for the coronavirus at the National Public Health Laboratory on May 22.

The woman who is also a cardiac patient was undergoing treatment at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center.
