BIRATNAGAR: Candidate of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Indira Gautam has been elected National Assembly (NA) member under women’s category from Province 1

Gautam defeated her closest candidate Mina Pulami Magar of Nepali Congress (NC). Gautam received 6,422 votes.
