No-confidence motion was registered at 3:30 pm on December 20: Parliament Secretariat



KATHMANDU: The Secretariat of the Federal Parliament on Wednesday clarified that the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister KP Oli was registered at 3:30 pm on December 20.

Earlier, the Speaker’s Secretariat had said that the motion was registered at 10:30 am.

Likewise, Chief Whip of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dev Gurung had said that the no-confidence motion was filed after receiving information from the media that the Prime Minister was preparing to dissolve the House of Representatives.

Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Rojnath Pandey stated that the no-confidence motion was filed in the HoR at 3:30 pm on Sunday itself.
