Prachanda-Nepal faction holding Parliamentary Party meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has called a meeting of the Parliamentary Party (PP) on Wednesday. The PP meeting will take place at 11 am.

A meeting of the Central Committee of the faction held at Karki Banquet in Kathmandu on Tuesday decided to convene the meeting.

The next meeting of the Central Committee will be held on Thursday.

The meeting of the factional Central Committee decided to oust Prime Minister KP Oli from NCP Chairmanship and picked leader Nepal as a new Chairman.

Oli has been accused of acting against national and party interests, repeatedly violating party decisions, dissolving Parliament, and attacking the constitution.

A leader informed that the meeting also decided to hit the streets saying that the dissolution of the Parliament was unconstitutional.
