 Two jailed for selling outdated products (with photos)  



KATHMANDU:  The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection Management (DoCSM), Babarmahal has arrested two individuals for selling outdated products in the capital.

In the course of monitoring, a team of the DoCSM on Sunday seized outdated items of tang, snicker chocolate, pringles chips, bournvitta, oreo biscuits worth Rs 29364701.80 put on sale after labeling them with new stickers.

The arrested have been sentenced to jail in one year along with a fine of Rs 300,000 each, according to an official at the DoCSM.
