Fifteen Indians arrested for entering Nepal illegally



MORANG: Armed Police Force (APF) BOP Rani in Biratnagar arrested 15 Indian nationals after they entered Nepal secretly from the border at Biratnagar-17, Islampur.

According to the Armed Police Force BOP Rani, they were taken under control and handed over to the Indian police as they were entering Nepal through a checkpoint other than those specified by the government.

The government has decided to allow access only from Jogwani of Morang, Bhantawari of Sunsari, Kankarvitta of Jhapa and Pashupati Nagar of Ilam.

Even though the border checkpoints have been closed for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus, the secret entry of Indians into Nepal has not been stopped of late and continuously breaching the Nepal’s restrictions.
