Kanti Children Hospital launches free health services to needy ones



KATHMANDU: The government has announced free of cost emergency health services of the first phase to poor and marginalized people.

The Ministry of Health and Population, as per its 2077/78 policy and program, has initiated this service has begun at National Trauma Centre and Kanti Children Hospital for the first phase said joint spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari.

The service was introduced some days before in the Trauma Center while it was introduced in Kanti Hospital from today.

As per this program, persons with a poor identity card, recommendations from local bodies, and patients without guardians would be benefited.

According to Adhikari, such services would be extended at Tribhuvan University, Teaching Hospital, Bir Hospital, Gangalal Heart Centre among the major 15 hospitals from across the country in this fiscal year.
