Prithvi Chandra Hospital sealed after 3 doctors test COVID-19 positive



NAWALPARASI: The Parasi-based Prithvi Chandra Hospital has been sealed after 4 medics including 3 doctors and a nurse working there tested positive on Sunday.

Chief District Officer of Nawalparasi (West) Sagar Mani Pathak informed that the hospital has been sealed after the doctors and nurse tested positive for coronavirus.

Nawalparasi has seen 29 fresh cases of the pandemic on Sunday alone.

According to Gaurav Dhakal, the Chief of District Public Health Office, Nawalparasi, out of the new cases, 25 are from Palhi Nandan Rural Municipality, including Mayor Deepak Gupta and a nurse working in the Primary Health Center of Palhinandan Rural Municipality.

Nawalparasi (West) has seen 173 coronavirus cases till date.

Similarly, Madhyabindu District Hospital of Nawalpur has been sealed since Friday after 5 patients and a nurse here tested coronavirus positive.
