Five more persons infected in Gandaki Province



POKHARA: Five more persons have been infected with COVID-19 in Gandaki Pradesh.

According to a press note issued by Ministery of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh on Thursday morning, two persons each in Kaski and Parbat and one from Syangja have been infected with coronavirus.

With this, the total number of infected people in Gandaki has reached 1,350.

A test conducted at the Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara confirmed the infection in a man and a woman of Modi in Parbat.

Similarly, a man from Chapakot in Syangja has also been infected.

A test conducted at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences has confirmed the infection in two men of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Kaski.

According to the ministry, four people have died due to coronavirus when the number of people recovering from the virus has reached 1,091.
