Coronavirus infects 65,339 in a single day in Brazil



KATHMANDU:  The death toll from the coronavirus in Brazil has crossed 82,000 in the last seven months.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, the death toll has reached 82, 890 after 1,293 new deaths were reported.

With new 65,339 cases in a single day, the number of infection cases has surged to 2,231,871 so far.

Currently, 618,843 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,532,138 have recovered after treatment.
