BAITADI: District Police Office, Baitadi has been sealed after coronavirus infection was found in a detainee at the office.

Panic has spread among police personnel after a 22-year-old youth of Shivnath-1 in detention for murder was found to be infected with the coronavirus.

DSP Dilla Narayan Pandey said that panic had spread among all the police after one of the five detainees was found to be infected with the coronavirus.

According to Pandey, the infected youth was arrested on April 27. He was kept at the Area Police Office, Melauli for 3-4 hours and at the Area Police Office, Patan for one night.

Pandey said that about 150 police personnel working in all the three police offices were at risk.
