Cooperation with Prachanda possible for safeguarding democracy: Gopal Kirati

KATHMANDU: Political polarization has been intensified after the dissolution of the Parliament by the President at the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Oli.

Regarding PM Oli’s remark as unconstitutional, former Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party Maoist Center Gopal Kirati has reiterated the need to launch a massive street movement against the regressive and unconstitutional move of Prime Minister KP Oli-led government.

Kirati told that his party has already worked out the protest programs and said he was ready to collaborate with Prachanda provided the latter agrees to expel PM Oli from NCP.

“If NCP expels PM Oli from the party we can cooperate with Prachanda group to protect democracy,” Kirati who has formed a separate party declaring ‘Prachanda betrayed communist movement’ told ahead.
