BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 has seen 102 more cases of coronavirus pandemic in the past 24 hours with 65 males and 37 females testing coronavirus positive.
According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, there were 49 new cases in Morang, 30 in Sunsari, 16 in Jhapa, one in Ilam and three people from other provinces tested coronavirus positive in the province on Saturday.
The Ministry informed that Morang saw the coronavirus positive case in 24 females and 25 males, whereas Sunsari witnessed pandemic positive report on eight females and 22 males.
Likewise, five females and 18 males tested positive in Jhapa.
With this Province 1 has witnessed 2,589 coronavirus cases till date out of which 1,243 have been discharged after recovery.
A total of 15 people of Province 1 have succumbed to coronavirus pandemic death till date.
