9 security officials assigned for Madhav Nepal’s security infected with COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Nine security personnel assigned for the security of former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal have tested positive for coronavirus.

They were found infected during swab sample tests collected from all the family members of Nepal and the security personnel.

It is learnt that the PCR test reports of all the family members of Nepal have come out positive.

According to Nepal’s family sources, the infected security personnel have been kept in isolation.

Madhav Nepal’s family members have undergone PCR tests for three months already.

Earlier, six security officials assigned for the security of Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had tested positive for coronavirus.
